Mrs. Stacy Bascom

Mrs. Bascom started her education at the University of the Arts in
Philadelphia, PA studying dance performance and teaching. After
leaving college she spent time choreographing, teaching and
performing dance and musical theater in and around New Jersey.
Most of her dance teaching started with her baby ballerinas, which is
where her love for early childhood education first began to sprout. A
lifelong student she went back to school, first attending Mercer
County Community College and then Brookdale working toward her
early childhood education degree.
While studying and taking classes, Mrs. Bascom began teaching at the high school level and remained there for over 17 years. She spearheaded the dance program, creating a curriculum for 9-12th graders and also expanded the program to bring dance and movement to the preschool and kindergarten level.

Mrs. Bascom left teaching a few months before the pandemic. During
the year and a half of COVID lockdown, she ran a small pre-k
homeschool pod (both remote and in-person) and reignited her love
for teaching preschool. She enjoys combining her love of movement,
music
and art with learning and playing.

Mrs. Bascom is so happy to be joining the TFCP Family!
